Start an amazing 8-day journey through Tanzania’s famous northern parks. Spend 4 days in the Serengeti, known for the yearly migration of wildebeests and zebras. Then, explore the beautiful landscapes and rich wildlife in the Ngorongoro Crater, a highlight of your trip. Finish your safari at Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds. Finally, enjoy a scenic hike to the base of Mount Kilimanjaro.

When you arrive at the airport, our team will greet you and take you to your hotel. You can join a short tour of Arusha city to learn about Tanzanian culture and get ready for your adventure. In the evening, we will give you a detailed briefing about the tour activities coming up. If you arrive early, you may also choose to take a short hike to Kilima Moto to see a beautiful sunset.

At 8:00am, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and introduce you to your guide for a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant populations, Tarangire offers a chance to see these magnificent animals up close. During our game drive, we’ll track reported wildlife sightings, including herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras, while our guide will strive to locate elusive predators like lions and cheetahs.
We’ll stop for lunch at the river picnic site, where you can enjoy the view and watch for wildlife (be mindful of the playful monkeys and baboons!). After lunch, we’ll continue our game drive until around 5:30pm, then head to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we begin our scenic 6-hour drive to Serengeti, with brief stops along the way. We pause for about 20 minutes at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to admire the crater. There’s also an optional visit to a Masai Village for an additional fee of US$10 to US$20.
Upon arriving in Serengeti National Park in the afternoon, we go on an exciting game drive in Seronera, exploring the vast plains and enjoying a stunning sunset while watching wildlife. With some luck, we might even see a predator hunt! We then return to Serengeti Safari Camp for the night.

We explore the Serengeti, heading northwest to track wildlife. After an early breakfast, we embark on a morning game drive with a packed picnic lunch. Our goal is to witness migrating herds at the Mara River. We continue to scan the landscape for wildlife until evening, then return to Heritage Mara Camp for dinner and to keep watch for nighttime visitors.

Today, we head west to the Mara River, eager to witness the wildebeests gathering for their river crossing as migration begins. After breakfast, we embark on a game drive, taking a break for a picnic lunch in the wilderness. We continue our exploration until dusk and then return to Heritage Mara Camp to relax and reflect on the day’s adventures.

After a satisfying breakfast, we head out for a morning game drive towards the southern region of Serengeti, specifically Seronera. As the day progresses, we gradually exit the Serengeti in the late afternoon, making our way to the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. Situated on the rim of the crater, this lodge offers a breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater. The journey to the crater takes approximately 2 hours by road.

After an early breakfast, we descend into Ngorongoro Crater at 6:15am to search for the elusive black rhino, the hardest animal to spot. Wildlife spotting on the crater floor is generally easier. After lunch, we enjoy another game drive before heading back to the lodge to pack up and depart for Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa near Arusha.
